Job Title: Medical Research Administrator
Function:
· Information management and update of appropriate tracking
tools for designated projects.
· Adherence to SOPs, Guidelines and all appropriate
regulations
· Tracking of essential regulatory documents and filing within
the project files according to ICH
GCP.
Scope of Responsibility:
· To provide support to the Medical Adviser / Assistant
responsible for feasibility studies in Europe.
· To provide support to assigned Medical Adviser / Assistant
according to contracted services in compliance with current legislation,
ICH GCP and appropriate company/Sponsor procedures and quality
standards.
Major Tasks:
· To participate in PEG meetings at the request of the Medical
Adviser and/or Medical Director
· To assist with the production of study related documents for
feasibility, specifically anonymised synopses, draft questionnaires and
blank national feasibility forms.
· To search for background information on study specific
therapeutic areas which can accompany feasibility documents
· To administratively manage feasibility studies, specifically to
set-up and maintain project filing for designated studies
· To ensure that responses from the local feasibility contacts
are accurate, relevant and timely.
· To prepare summary results of the feasibility data received
from local offices
· To enter the data in the Feasibility Database and to ensure
that the data is accurate
· To post results of feasibility and any useful information
regarding the disease area on a Lotus Notes based feasibility
information database
· Attend feasibility team conference calls and preparation of
minutes, when necessary
· Organise feasibility team meetings as required.
· To communicate with the Medical Assistant / Adviser, other
members of the Medical Department and to take direction from them as
appropriate.
· To provide ideas for process improvement for the feasibility
team
· May be requested to participate in project team meetings
· To take on any other task as assigned by Manager, which
may include providing support to other members of the Medical
Department.

Qualifications / Education: Educated to High School level or Degree
level (Ideally Life Sciences background)
Previous Relevant Work Experience / Years of Experience: Previous
work experience in an administrative role. Previous work experience
within Clinical Research or related discipline such as nursing or medical
writing preferred but not essential.
