Release Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Installation/Upgrade/Configuration - Work with Release Manager to
set the direction of these functions and lead their design and
implementation. An ideal candidate will be able to take requirements
and provide senior level guidance and direction to the Release Team to
design and implement solutions.

2. Work with other development teams in the organization to assess
deployment impacts and address them accordingly. An ideal candidate
will need to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of how product
changes impact the install and upgrade and be able to work with the
development team to resolve issues.

3. Support the Customer Support (CSO) and Professional Services (PSO)
Organizations, troubleshooting deployment and configuration issues.

4. Release Engineers are responsible for the build and release of ITG
software, and the role does also include performing software builds and
supporting Software Engineers and QA Engineers.

Required Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Software design
skills Java InstallShield MultiPlatform Unix scripting Preferred
Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or
related field Requires 2-4 years of applicable work experience
