He could very easily be on incapacity benefit & DLA, meaning that his
rent and council tax will be paid, and he'll be getting the same
effectively as if he was working and earning about 16K. I suppose he
could very easily be dealing too if he really was taking 25 a day, and
at that sort of quantity maybe he was paying only 50p a tablet?
I'm wondering how the guy functioned when he was taking 25 a day. In
my past, I've taken ecstacy regularly, and used to find that after
about 3, taking any more would be a waste as it wouldn't have any
affect at all. Also the body becomes immune over time, and to get the
same hit you end up having to take more.
If the guy really was taking 25 a day, maybe his body became so immune
to it, that it was the same as most people taking 3 or 4? Or maybe he
would just sit on his sofa at the start of the day with 25 pills,
taking 1 every half hr, and then when he woke up the next day, they
would all be gone, but really his mates would just be helping
themselves and he was so off it he never realised?
The whole article is just a joke though. A drug addict claims to have
necked 40,000 ecstacies. First rule regarding druggies though, is
never ever trust anything a druggy tells you.
