Psychological and social sequelae of cannabis and other illicit
drug use by young people: a systematic review of longitudinal,
general population studies
<quote>
Available evidence does not strongly support
an important causal relation between cannabis
use by young people and psychosocial harm,
but cannot exclude the possibility that such a
relation exists. The lack of evidence of robust
causal relations prevents the attribution of public
health detriments to illicit drug use. In view of
the extent of illicit drug use, better evidence
is needed.

Comment: Decades of research, hundreds (thousands?) of millions
of public money spent looking for harm - and still they demand
more tax-payers money be wasted in the fruitless quest to prove
that cannabis causes 'psychosocial harm'. Why? Because their
livelihood depends of it. There scientists could've spent their
lives researching into a cure for malaria or cancer. Instead
they waste it supporting a pointless and vicious war against
drug users.

Drugs (ACMD) the body responsible for fine-tuning the UK's drug
prohibition laws.
