Ah... I'd forgotten the dulcet tones of the Merrick tradeword -
specious.

That would be "Unionist community"

Oh, but they were. You do know that entire university courses are
based around the machinations of the Stormont junta entity's misuse
and abuse of the rules of democracy to maintain 1/3 of the population
powerless in every sense of the word - politically, economically,
socially and culturally?

I'm confused now. "We all know that it wasn't true" but then it's
"very much exaggerated" - so, maybe it's somewhat true? After all,
Trimble in his Nobel prize (what a joke - an ex Vanguard member...)
speech, he said the six counties were "a cold house for Catholics".

Then explain the mid-sixties - no IRA campaign, the IRA was
effectively being demobbed under Cathal Goulding, yet loyalists
started the Troubles by murdering Catholics (killing some Prods in the
process).

So, what's your opinion on the Dungannon housing incident where a
family of 5 was passed over for a house in favour of a single
Protestant woman, leading Austin Currie and Bernadette
Devlin/McAliskey to occupy the house and giving birth to the NICRA?

Or how about Derry Corporation's rule that only landlords and company
owners could vote, which kept Derry - an overwhelmingly Nationalist
city, under the Unionist jackboot?

The problem for you and people like you is that the Shinners are
anything *_BUT_* moribund - their electoral machine is nothing short
of awesome.

Ask yourself that question. Why are Nationalists prepared to vote for
people they know full well have been involved in violence against the
state? It's because the state treated them like shit, and now they're
getting their own back.

I suggest that you look at McKittrick's book - it's pretty much all
there in black and white.

What you think doesn't matter. It's what Tony Blair and Bertie Ahearn
think. Either Unionists go into govt. with the Shinners, or else it's
bye-bye to all those lovely subsidies from Britain. Spongers beware!

Paul...
